Started in January, 1993 in Byron and Briceida Willis' living room (history), the church now has their own building and is the fastest growing church in Panama and the largest independent Baptist church in the country. The church has outgrown their building and has had to go to two Sunday Schools and two services starting at 8:00 a.m. To listen to the church service via live stream, click here.

Bible Institute (Click here to see Pictures)
Byron Willis has also started a Bible Institute which is now in it's fourth year. The first graduation was held in December, 2004. Five young ladies graduated and three men will graduate on December 16, 2005. There are two young men from Bro. Willis's church that have already graduated from the Fires of Evangelism Bible College in Elgin, IL, and will be returning soon to Panama. One of these young men is Bro. Rafael Rodriguez and his wife, Tracey. They are already back in the country and starting a new work about 10 miles from the city of David. This is the first work of many new works which Byron Willis would like to see started, not only in the province of Chiriqui, but throughout the whole country of Panama. In the past year, the Lord has opened a new door for a wonderful ministry here in David, Panama. Manna Worldwide (www.mannaworldwide.com) has coordinated efforts with the Willises and are providing the funds for two feeding centers, which feed over 80 children daily, two meals a day, five days a week. God has used these centers to be able to reach many people for the Lord and provide a more healthy childhood to over 80 children.

Manna Worldwide is also working with the Willises as they open an Orphanage and an Adoption Agency. This home is for girls that are pregnant and have considered having an abortion due to negative circumstances in their lives. We encourage these girls to come and live out their pregnancy at the Home, free of charge, and give birth to their child and then give it up for adoption. We trust these young mothers get saved and go home a "new creature" and we hope to see these children grow up in good Christian homes and become great servants of God. The Panamanian government is thankful and supportive of this project. We held the dedication service for our Girls Home on September 29.
